In use this small box mod, is good to hold and the position of the buttons is perfect. The 510 connection is spring loaded, smooth and very solid. Air channels are built into the top for devices that use airflow from the 510 connection. Most devices tend to have their own airflow but its handy for older ones. The display is clear and shows all the information you will need, such as battery charge, ohms reading, output voltage and watts selected in a blue display.

This device is a variable wattage only but does have a mech mode to simulate a mechanical mod. On the bottom of the unit is a removable plate held in by four hex screws to allow the user to fit a 18650 battery. Also the battery can be charged via a micro USB in the unit. One of the benefits of a battery system like this is if the battery cell dies from old age or too many recharges it can be replaced unlike some of the other “built in” battery that similar devices use.

Also by having a changeable battery you can use a 18650 that suits the way you vape. If you don’t subohm you can use a lower amp battery with more mah ie 18650 3200mah at 10 amps to obtain a longer life. Also if you charge the batteries outside the unit you can just swap out the old battery with a new freshly charged one but the bottom plate is a hindrance to this with the hex screws used. A flap or cutout should have been used for speed but it still works that way.

The M50 has a very good range of wattage from 6 watts to 65 watts and can fire a device as low as 0.2 Ohms which should suit most users. Also the small size makes it easy to carry as well. I found it very easy to use and would adapt to all the different clearomisers and even cartomisers tanks,

This device sits in the intermediate user area but due to its form factor and power even a pro vaper would find this very useful. For the beginner who wants a box style mode then I would suggest the iLeaf iStick 30.

So in the end this is a great unit thats flexible and very well made. The use of Aluminium helps keep the weight down but also makes its very resilient for everyday use. All in all a well made and powerful unit.
